Being of perfect sound mind and memory do make ordain and publish this as my last will and Testament in manner and form following (VIZ)
First I lend unto my beloved wife Christian Pike all the tract of land where on I now live soposed to be two hundred acres during her natural life or widowhood.
Item I Give and devide to my son Mark pike the Ballance of my land called the Applewhite tract together with my home tract that I lent unto my wife, also one bed bedstead and its necessary furniture two daggons two flukey (?) one, Grubing hoe one walking hoe one cow and Calf and fifty dollars in money to buy him a horse to have and told in fee simple for ever.
Item I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Charity Pike five hundred dollars in notes or money which ever I may have at the time of my death to have and to hold in fee simple forever
Item I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Edny pike five hundred dollars in notes or money which ever I may have at the time of my death. Also one bed bedstead and its necessary furniture one chest one cow and calf to have and to hold in fee simple forever.
Item I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Christian Pike five hundred dollars in notes or money which ever I may have at the time of my death also one bed bedstead and it necessary furniture one cow and calf to have and hold in fee simple forever
Item my will and desire is that all the remainder of my money and notes after paying my just debts and experience be equally divided amongst all my children that may be living at my death share and share alike.
I lend unto my beloved wife Christian Pike all the Ballance of my property not heretofore lent or Given away to have and to hold unto her own proper use and benefit during his natrel life or widowhood – and after the death of my wife my will and desire is that the property be sold and the money arising therefrom be equally devide between all my children that may be living at her death.
and lastly I do hereby onstitute and appoint my trusty friends Matthew Pike and Micajah Pike my lawful executors to all interests and purposes to execute this my last will and testament according to the true interest and meaning of the same of (?) and every part and (?) thereof hereby working and declaring uterly void all other wills by me heretofore made
