!Sources of Information: 1.Parish register Diemtigen for Mrs. Pearl DABEL, Afton, Wyoming. 2.FGR submitted by Mary D. CROWTHER. IGI Verification: #712207-94 bapt, end. slg p. #A459052-0654 slg s. #A178065-3250 slg s 6 Feb 1912 LG. (Research):Research Note: Quoting from Paul Nielson's ltr dtd 1 Apr 1976 - "Peter KNUTTI is presumably identical with the Peter who was christened in 1573, the son of Christian KNUTTI and Elsbeth KAMMACHER. He is the only Peter whose christening appears in Diemtigen at the appropriate time. It must be stated that there is no positive proof for such connections on the pedigree in these early periods of time. The identification of an individual through an age in the death record or through the specific plans of residence are among the things that establish positive proof of an ancestral connection on the pedigree. The early parish records simply did not include such detailed information and therefore many of the connections can only be assumed." Will extend this pedigree stating "assumed only" jts.
