No. 64. ISAAC SPARRROW BIBLE (1822-1876) (Lenoir)
Isaac Sparrow was a son of Patrick R. Sparrow, a soldier from Lenoir County in the War of 1812, who moved to the Darlington-Chesterfield County area of South Carolina where he died sometime after 1830. Isaac lived for a while in South Carolina but moved back to Lenoir County sometime after 1850, settling in the Deep Run area. His first wife was Susan Sugg and his second was Ann Jane Baker. This Bible was printed by D. Fanshaw of New York for the American Bible Society in 1843 and currently owned by Mrs. Dorothy S. Baker of Farmville, N.C. Record courtest of W.
