Email from Helen Chapin:

I am the Great Granddaughter of Avi Sparrow who was the daughter of Isaac and Susan Sugg Sparrow.

My Grandfather Louis Everett Sparrow was born to Avi when she was 16 years old and unmarried.

It appears that she was seduced by William Kenyon Baker, the illegitimate son of Anne Jane Baker.

She later married Register Jenkins but had no other children of her own.

I am attaching two documents from Dr Keats Sparrow of Greenville NC who has done a great deal of research on Isaac’s descendents and is searching for more information on his ancestors.  I believe that you and your sister could fill a lot of blanks for us.

The document you sent my son-in-law was most helpful because we have very little information on Tabitha.  Keats is interested in documentation on the year and place of her birth.  He has found information that after Patrick’s death she and her younger children moved to Hinds County Mississippi and probably died there.  Can you verify that?

By the way I would be interested in knowing where you are from.  I live in Fuquay Varina NC.  This is a small town about 15 miles East of Raleigh.  We moved here 6 years ago from Greenville to be near our children. I will be 80 years old in October and am the sole survivor of my family.  My father was Lewis Garland Sparrow and he was married to my mother Stella Buck.  They had 6 children.

If you would like I will be happy to share any information I have and send Keats email address.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
