Mom’s Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 c flour

  • 1/4 c shortening Bacon fat

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda with 1 c. milk sour or 1 c buttermilk

  • 1 TB Baking Powder

  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Cut flour and shortening (like pie crust). Add other ingredients. Knead and roll out. Cut with plastic cup.
  2. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 minutes.
