Essex County During America;s Turbulent Years, 1763-1790

Two Essex County men from Capt. Billy Porter’s company were killed: Phillip Grush of Marblehead and William Collins of Beverly. Undoubtedly others fell possibly including Job Cressy, William Peirce and Jonathan Standley in Beverly.  In and era that did not carefully record losses of privates and noncomissioned officers, their names were lost.
