Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup butter (cold)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups light brown sugar, not packed
  • 2 TB fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp lemon rind
