Creamy Nut Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 TB cake flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup fat
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook flour and milk until a thick paste.

  2. Cream fat, butter, sugar, salt

  3. Add to lukewarm paste.

  4. Beat until fluffy.

  5. Add vanilla and powdered sugar.

Recipe Notes

May make chocolate if desired.
