Topping cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 beaten egg yolks Save whites for later.
  • 1 cup mlk
  • pinch salt

Second set of ingredients

  • 1 small package lemon jello
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice

Third set of ingredients

  • 1 pint whipping cram
  • 1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 large angel food cake

Instructions

  1. Mix first ingredients and cook until thick.

  2. Put lemon jello and pineapple juice in hot mixture and cool.

  3. Whip the 2 egg whites.

  4. Mix/blend with whipping cream.

  5. Fold together.

  6. Drain well the crushed pineapple.

  7. Add to cream.

  8. Add cooked mixture to it.

  9. Crumble angel food cake in fairly large sizes in dripper pan.

  10. Pour whole mixture over angel food cake.

  11. Refrigerate overnight.
