Indenture between Jesse Aycock and James Aycock

This indenture made the Thirteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven Hundred & Ninty seven, between Jesse Aycock of the County of Wayne & State No Carolina of the one part & James Aycock of the same place of the other part Witnesseth the said Jesse Aycock for & in consideration of the land(?)  the said Jesse Aycock hereto the said James Aycock the receipt, whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Jesse Aycock hath granted given & turned Enfuoff (?) released and confirmed & by these presents doth give (?) grant alun (?) Enfioff (?) release and confirm unto the said James Aycock his hires(?) and assigns forever a certain track of land lying & being in Wayne County and state aforesaid on the southish(?) side of the little swamp beginning at the mouth of the branch which runs through the said Jesse Aycocks cornfield as a white oak & runs the various courses the branch to the path that leads from my house to John Peacock and with the path to the line between Jesse Aycocks & John Peacock land then with that line to the corner (a white oak) then down the little the course of said swamp to the begining a white oak at the mount(?) of said branch below the spring containing two hundred and fifty acres be the farm more or less & also all profits commoditus advantages hired diments(?) & appertinaneer whatsoever to the said track or pursue of land belonging or in any wise appertaining & the inversion(?) or reverse(?) remainder or remainders sues(?) and profits of the said promises and of every part and parcel(?) thereof & all the Estate right Title claim property interest and demand whatsoever of him the said Jesse Aycock of is & to the Said Track of Land and Premises and every part thereof to have and to hold the said track or parcel of land, and all the singular the premises above mentioned & every part & parcel thereof with the appertananing unto the said James Aycock his heirs and assigns forever to the only proper use & behooff(?) of the said James Aycock his heirs and assigns and the said Jesse Aycock for himself & his heirs doth covenant promise & agree to & with the said James Aycock his heirs & assigns the said Track of land and premises and every part thereof against him and his heirs & against the right Title claim & demand of all & every other person or persons shall and will warrant & forever defend by these presents in witness whereof the said Jesse Aycock hath hereunto let his land and seal the day and year above written signed sealed and delivered in presents of us his
