Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pkg (4 serving size) JELL0 Brand Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pkg (12 oz) chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour with baking soda.

  2. Combine butter, the sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixing bowl.

  3. Beat until smooth and creamy.

  4. Beat in eggs.

  5. Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and nuts.

  6. (Batter will be stiff)

  7. Drop b rounded measuring teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.

  8. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
