Almond Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup almond paste

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

Remaining Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp almond flavoring
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  2. Add egg and beat well.

  3. Beat in paste until smooth.

  4. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

  5. Add remaining ingredients.

  6. Drop from teaspoon on buttered sheet.

  7. Bake in 350 degree oven about 15 min or until delicately brown.
