Quick Mix Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fat
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 TB milk

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Use any of the following

  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chocolate chips, coconut, raisins, nuts, pineapple or dates

Instructions

  1. Cream fat and sugar.

  2. Add beaten egg, vanilla and milk.

  3. Sift all dry ingredients and add to first mixture.

  4. Stir and add remaining ingredients.

  5. Bake on greased cookie sheet 12 to 15 minutes in 375 degree oven.
