Samoan Chop Suey

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 lb long rice
  • 2 corn beef
  • 1/4 cup garlic
  • 1/4 cup ginger
  • 2 cups soy sauce
  • 4 sticks celery
  • 4 sticks carrots

Instructions

  1. Before coooking your chop suey, soak the long rice in cold water for 35-45 minutes.

  2. Cut vegetables up in pieces, also the garlic and ginger.

  3. Put oil in pan until hot, put in garlic and ginger for 1 minute.

  4. Add the corn beef for 2 minutes.

  5. Cut the long rice into pieces with a pair of scissors.

  6. Add the long rice into the corn beef, when the long is cooked, add the soy sauce.

  7. After the soy sauce is added, wait for maybe 5 minutes.

  8. Turn the heat to low, and add the celery and carrots or any kind of vegetable you prefer to add into your chop suey.
