  1. William Sasser born 1733 – owned property in Edgecombe Co.  Signed a petition along with John and Thomas Sasser petitioning Gov. George Burrington not to move the seat of government for the Craven Precinct to Edenton, NC [The Colonial Records of North Carolina.  Records of the Executive Council 1664-1734.  Vol VII, 1984.  Robert J. Cain, Ed., pp 301-303].  He might also be the William who owned property in Edgecombe County in 1743 [The Colonial Records of North Carolina. Records of the Executive Council 1735-1754.  Vol VIII.
  2. Wm (William Sasser) father of a Henry Sasser – Wilma Smith Fullmer believes this is the correct father of this Henry.  Found tax payer Wm Sasser in Dobbs Co in 1779.  He had property in Johnston Co (1782, 1790, 1799) and was a taxpayer in Dobbs Co in 1779 (documents under the Sasser tab).  Found a Wm Sasser in 1800, 1797 and 1783 handwritten by Lavina Harper.  Henry and Ann Sasser are witnesses in this information.
  3. William Sasser died 1781, son of John and Sarah Sasser Sr; children: James, Sarah, Ann (lived in New Bern)
  4. William Sasser, son of Josiah Sasser and Elizabeth Bryan – later Blackman) Died in March 1815 Smithfield, NC (probably without children)
  5. William Sasser, son of Lewis Sasser and Nancy Lee.  Born around 1808-1810.  His mother died around 1813-1814 and William shows up in guardianship reports by Lewis in the Johnston County minutes.
