page 122 Agreement between Benjamin Hatcher and Robert Sharpe, both inhabitants of Henrico Co.,: There is now a tract in the county called Varina, lately in possession of William Hatcher, dec’d, and claimed at law by said Robert Sharpe, and the right of said William since his death being derived to said Benjamin Hatcher, and also claimed by said Sharpe. Now for valuable consideration to both parties and to avoid future suits about the tract, 200 acres, they agree the land should be divided equally; and Robert shall have first choice. 31 March 1680.

Hatcher of Robert Bullington and Hen. Rowing and Alee his wife in two deeds dated 1 Feb 1661, and by Hen. Hatcher, the survivor of the joint purchasers, sold to said Edward Hatcher 20 Aug. 1667.

Several years ago Edward Hatcher of Henrico Co., for love and affection gave to his grandchild Mary Gower, daughter of Richard and Martha Gower, 1 cow calf and 1 mare, which have since increased to 5 head cattle & 1 mare & filly. Gower has disposed of 2 of the cattle. Now for good will & affection Edward Hatcher and Richard Gower give to Mary Gower 2 red cows, 1 brown cow, 1 yearling mare filly and various household items in possession of Richard Gower, which said Richard will keep until Mary is 21 or married. 1 Jan. 1686.
