p.539 8 December 1757 Thomas Matthews to his brother, Edward Matthews, both of Henrico County, for love and good will and to fulfill the last will and testament of his father, Thomas Matthews, deceased, and 20 shillings, 50 acres, being the moiety of the tract where the said Thomas Matthews now dwells and to be laid off on the south part of the said tract – the dividing line to begin at the spring now commonly used.
