Daniel Sparrow Will

In the Name of God Amen I Daniel Sparrow of the County of Pulaski being in perfect health of Body and of Perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God Calling unto mind the Mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament , that is to say principally and first of all  I give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God – that gave it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be Buried in decent Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing Doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching Such worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this Life. I give Demise and Dispose of the same in the following manner and form .

I do give and bequeath to Christian my dearly beloved wife and to Henry and James my two loving sons all my property both real & personal for the Support of said Christian, Henry and family during the time said Christian Shall live and at her said Christian death said property to be divided Equally among the heirs and I do hereby utterly disallow all former Wills by me in any wise before named rattifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty eighth day of December Eighteen hundred and Sixteen

Personally appeared in open Court Sands Stanley and after being duly sworn Saith that he saw Daniell Sparrow 

Signed Seal & Deliver the within Instrument as his last will & Testament and that he saw Archer Daniel and Beggar Singleton Subscribed as witness with himself & that he believes said Sparrow was in his proper sense prove to this 6 January 1818
