Saute curry powder in butter until nicely browned. Add minced onion and brown. Add cooked chicken. Stir in celery, apple, mushroom. Incorporate milk, cream, cornstarch and broth. Add salt to taste. Serve over rice.
Can add condiments when serving: grated carrots, squash, coconut, raisins, nuts, dates as desired.
Grandma Smith's Upside Down Chocolate Pudding Cake
This was a family favorite that our mother used to make. Pam used this recipe in a baking contest in High School and won an award.

Ingredients
1cupflour
1/2tspsolda
1/2cupsugar
1/2tspsalt
2TB vegetable oil
1/2cupmilk
1square unsweetened chocolate
3/4cupnuts
3/4cupbrown sugar
1 3/4cupshot water
1 1/2square chocolatecut finely
1tspvanilla
Instructions
Sift flour, soda, salt and sugar. Drop in oil. Add milk, vanilla and melted chocolate. Beat 150 strokes. Add nuts and blend. Spread in greased long pan.
Combine finely cut chocolate, brown sugar and hot water in sauce pan. Cook, do not boil, over low heat for five minutes stirring constantly then pour over batter.
